Getting laid off once is scary enough.
Laid off twice → new role in 15 days + contractor gig

Getting laid off once is scary enough.
You lose income.
You start doubting your skills.
You wonder if you'll even find something as good as what you had.
My client went through that twice.
It took him 2 months to close his knowledge gaps and prepare for interviews before he landed a new role.
Then it happened again. Laid off a second time.
This time it was not because of poor performance, but a business decision.
So there was nothing he could control.
The difference now was that he already had the skills we worked on after the first layoff.
So it took him just 15 days to land the next one.
Plus he picked up a contractor project on the side while working his new full time job.
Same tough market with a completely different mindset.
The difference was what he had between his ears the second time around.
He wasn't learning system design from scratch as he already had it.
He just had to dust it off.
“At this point I'm too confident in landing another role”
